Key Economic Data and Central Bank Decisions

This morning Australia’s Q1 GDP came in at 0.1%, falling just short of the 0.2% forecast and noticeably down from last quarter’s 0.3%. While it’s not the blockbuster number we were hoping for, there’s still plenty to keep an eye on in the Aussie economy.

At 09.00, HCOB Composite PMI for the Eurozone: is forecasted that in May it will remain at 52.2 points, which corresponds to the weak growth in business activity throughout the region.

At 13:15, the U.S. will publish ADP Employment Change data for May. The indicator is expected to grow by 173K from 192K previously.

At 14:45, a review on the BoC Central Bank Decisions, where expectations are set for a drop to 4.75% from the previous 5%.

Finally, at 15:00, the U.S. will publish data on the ISM Services PMI for May, which is expected to rise to 50.5 points from 49.4 points, which signals the potential growth.
